AINS is an award winning Scottish Film Director. She started working with moving image while studying at art school before going on to hone her craft at film school in Berlin. She is a hugely creative Director, with a distinct visual style that is playful, bold and heavily informed by design.

Driven by concept, her work often features visual metaphors and a highly art directed aesthetic. Meticulous in her approach, she throws herself into each project, creating music videos, commercials and documentaries for a wide range of brands, artists and clients including Celeste, Highland Park, Warner Music, Columbia and Sony. Her recent documentary for the BBC reached over a million views within the first 48 hours and her work has been featured in places like Creative Boom, Promonews, Clash, Wonderland, Booooooom TV, Dork and Ad’s Of The World.

She is currently working on a short film commissioned by the BBC that puts a lens on post natal depression, uncovering the dark reality that motherhood can be for some.
