From a background as Creative Director, Ross Cairns has been directing professionally since 2008. He creates cutting edge and ground breaking multi-format content. He was Creative Director for the CocaCola Energy drink ‘Relentless’, his collaborative work with the ‘Lives of the Artists’ series led to him filming extreme music, extreme sports and extreme action with extreme style. More recently, Ross’ credits include: ‘Fleet Lights’ for Direct Line – which won a Gold Lion at Cannes for innovation and led him to direct the next film in the series for Direct LIne: ‘Smarter Crossings’. In addition to his directing work, Ross was Creative Director and Director on multiple Samsung projects including the ground breaking VR spot ‘Hypercube’ for Samsung and has also directed two of the music videos from the latest album for UK artist Frank Carter.
