VANESSA STACHEL

Vanessa Stachel likes to move thematically somewhere between spooky ghosts and colourful glitter fairies. She started to make her own films with friends and family when she was in school – her first film was, of course, a horror film.

As a Motion & Graphic designer Vanessa has worked for many brands including: Apollo Optik, Planet Sports, Harry Potter and The Fraunhofer Research Institute.

In 2020 she joined the renowned Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Germany to focus on her strengths as a commercial director.

She’s up for comedy storytelling, fantastic settings, creative world building an is an expert in directing animation especially 2D and Stop Motion.

Vanessa’s short films have won awards across Europe and her film ‘Lady Painmaker’ received a Special Mention at the Porsche Awards 2023. She has also won Bronze at the Spotlight festival.
